Festive Crochet Decorations Workshop We’re excited to welcome back award-winning knitwear designer Katie Jones for a special all-day workshop on Saturday 13th December, 10:30am–4:30pm at Bus Stop Studios. In this festive session, you’ll spend the day making your own crochet baubles and stars – perfect handmade decorations to hang on your Christmas tree or give as thoughtful gifts. These timeless pieces can be brought out and enjoyed year after year, adding colour and creativity to your festive traditions. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced crocheters, with Katie on hand to guide you step by step and share her wealth of knowledge. All materials are included in the fee, but you’re welcome to bring your own yarn if you have a particular colour scheme in mind. Katie will also share extra tips and tricks throughout the day, and if time allows, she’ll introduce you to further techniques so you can continue your festive crochet journey at home. Katie is celebrated for her bold, colourful approach to fashion and textiles. Her work has been featured in leading fashion magazines, exhibited internationally, and stocked in some of the world’s most exciting boutiques. She is also a passionate teacher, known for bringing joy, playfulness, and creativity to every workshop she runs. Alongside this class, Katie will also be teaching other festive yarn-based workshops, as well as our regular knitting and crochet courses at Bus Stop Studios. Price: £75 standard / £65 low-income (materials included) We offer a reduced low-income rate to make our classes more accessible. If you are able to pay the standard fee, this helps support our tutors and the running of our programme — please choose the option that feels right for your circumstances. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Please note: Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you're unsure whether a class is suitable for you or someone you're booking for, please get in touch before booking. Bookings & Payments • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. • All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. • You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Materials • Materials and tools vary depending on the class. Please refer to the individual course description for details. Feel free to contact us with any questions in advance. Cancellations & Changes • Bookings are non-refundable. • Due to our small class sizes, it is usually not possible to transfer bookings to another date. • If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. • If you contact us 7 days before the class, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. The more notice you give, the better chance we can help. • If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of their name before the class. Cancellations by Us • In the rare case that we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. • Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. We are not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or pre-purchased materials. Insurance & Professional Standards • Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops. • All of our tutors carry their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and are experienced professionals in their field.
