Pearl Knotting & Threading Workshop Do you have a stash of broken necklaces or forgotten beads tucked away in a drawer? This is the perfect day to finally give them a second life. Join the extraordinary Vicki Sarge to learn the art of pearl knotting & threading: a professional jewellery technique that transforms loose beads & broken pieces into beautifully finished, lasting work. In this workshop you'll learn the classic method of knotting & threading using specialist cords, & explore macramé knotting techniques to create stylish, adjustable sliding bracelets. You will leave with finished pieces to take home & wear! Vicki is one of the UK's most celebrated jewellery designers. Her extraordinary pieces have been worn by Beyoncé, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Helen Mirren & Paloma Faith, her work has appeared on the Savage X Fenty runway, in BAFTA-winning films including The Favourite & in West End productions such as Cinderella. Pieces from her collaborations are held in the permanent collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum. Taught in a very small group setting, with plenty of individual guidance & support. This workshop is part of the Bus Stop Studios Summer School programme, perfect for anyone planning a creative break by the sea. Spend the day with us, then explore our wonderful seaside town. We have a recommended list of accommodation, please get in touch for details. Materials You are welcome to bring your own beads or necklaces you would like to restring (please check that a thin needle can pass through the holes). If you don't have any, don't worry, practice beads & threads are fully provided. A standard sewing needle works perfectly for this workshop, but if you would like to use a bead knotting tool, we can send you a link to purchase one in advance. Just get in touch. All other materials are included in the price. To keep things fair & sustainable, reduced-fee places are now limited rather than open to everyone. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you are unsure whether a class is suitable, please contact us before booking. Bookings & Payments - Classes, workshops and events can be booked via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. - Bookings are first come, first served. - Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. (please see below for payment options) - A booking confirmation will be sent by email once payment has been processed. Pricing & Supported Places - As a small independent business, our class fees help cover running costs, tutor pay, preparation time and associated expenses. - We may offer 1-2 lower income or supported places on selected courses, subject to availability. - These must be requested by email before booking and are offered at our discretion. - If the cost of a longer course feels difficult to manage, please contact us before booking and we may be able to discuss options such as a payment plan. Materials - Materials and tools vary by class. Please check the course description for details. Cancellations & Changes - Bookings are non-refundable. - Transfers are usually not possible due to small class sizes. - With at least 14 days' notice, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. - With 7 days' notice, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. -If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name before the class. Cancellations by Us - If we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. - Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. Insurance & Copyright - Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops, and all tutors hold their own Public Liability Insurance. - Course content, handouts, photography and designs are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared or used for teaching or commercial purposes without written permission. Photography - We may occasionally take photographs during classes for marketing or social media. - We will always ask permission before taking or using identifiable images. - Please let us know in advance if you have any concerns about photography.
