Rubber Stamp Carving Workshop with Felix Ford, Knitsonik Join us for some inky fun and learn to carve your own rubber stamps. This relaxed afternoon workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about adding a personal handmade touch to cards, journals and creative projects. Using lino carving tools and soft erasers, you will learn to make your own words, symbols, patterns and playful illustrations. From a mermaid stamp to celebrate sea swims, to a golden trophy for marking achievements in your journal, the possibilities are endless. You will begin by exploring the tools and materials and discovering the marks you can make in this medium. As your confidence grows, you will move on to designing and carving more detailed stamps. Felix will guide you throughout and will bring her own library of hand carved stamps to inspire you, showing how she uses them in journaling, collage, wrapping paper and more. You will then explore the creative possibilities of having your own set of stamps, from making cards to printing gift wrap or adding personal touches to your journal. You will leave with a collection of unique stamps, hand carved by you, ready to use across your creative life. Materials included The price for this workshop includes a complete kit for you to use and take home. This offer is only for students attending both workshops on the same day. Price £60 standard £45 reduced low income rate We offer a reduced rate for those on low incomes. If you are able to pay the standard fee, this helps support our tutors and makes our classes more accessible to everyone. Please choose the price that feels right for your circumstances. We keep our class sizes small to make sure everyone receives plenty of support. This workshop is limited to eight people and will require a minimum number of bookings to run. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Please note: Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you're unsure whether a class is suitable for you or someone you're booking for, please get in touch before booking. Bookings & Payments • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. • All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. • You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Materials • Materials and tools vary depending on the class. Please refer to the individual course description for details. Feel free to contact us with any questions in advance. Cancellations & Changes • Bookings are non-refundable. • Due to our small class sizes, it is usually not possible to transfer bookings to another date. • If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. • If you contact us 7 days before the class, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. The more notice you give, the better chance we can help. • If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of their name before the class. Cancellations by Us • In the rare case that we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. • Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. We are not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or pre-purchased materials. Insurance & Professional Standards • Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops. • All of our tutors carry their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and are experienced professionals in their field.
