Teens Half Term Embroidery Class

Bus Stop Studios Teens Embroidery class! Join us for this special half term class teaching kids the joys of embroidery with Amy Burt aka Lady B Embroidery This relaxed afternoon embroidery class will be aimed for teenagers aged 12 - 18 (we will be running a younger kids workshop in the morning) This a brilliant introduction for older kids wanting to learn the soothing and mindful hobby of hand stitching. No experience necessary but this will also be suitable for those with some experience Everyone will be given a piece of denim, be provided with all haberdashery (sewing equipment) and range of bright coloured threads. Amy will teach a range of different embroidery stitches including: - running stitch & back stitch - chain stitch - french knots - buttonhole - stem stitch If any anyone has previous experience Amy can teach them further stitches All material costs will be included in the price, but if you have materials at home your child would like to work on please get in touch beforehand (all photos used below are from Amy's book 'STITCH' published by GMC publications) All tutors teaching our Half Term classes have an Extensive DBS check Classes will be a maximum of 8 children Please include your child's name and their age in booking details, under comments. Snacks and refreshments are provided, please notify us of any allergies. Amy Burt aka Lady B Embroidery is qualified Hand Embroidery Artist and Tutor based in St Leonards on Sea. She has taught for the Royal School of Needlework since 2016 and worked for many years for London fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Ralph & Russo and Erdem, Amy worked on the embroideries for the Coronation of King Charles for the RSN. Cancellation Policy

Please note our classes are mostly aimed for adults. Please get in touch to ask if you are unsure. Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances. T&Cs Terms & Conditions • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events on our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY • Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your place. • Bookings and payments will be confirmed by email. • The materials and tools needed for each class varies, so please refer to the course description but don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries. • If you are unable to attend a class, workshop or event you may send someone else in your place. You must let us know the name of the attendee prior to the class, workshop or event taking place. • Confirmed & paid bookings are not eligible for payment refunds. • You can transfer to another class, workshop or event or receive a credit note if you notify us at least 14 days before the date of the class, workshop or event you are booked on to attend. • In exceptional circumstances, where we may have to cancel one of our advertised classes, workshops or events, you will be offered a full refund. • If a class, workshop or event is cancelled our liability is solely for the cost of the booking fee, not for any other costs you may have incurred such as materials you may have purchased in advance, travel costs or accommodation. • Attendees at our classes, workshops and events are not permitted to use any of our instruction sheets, photography or designs for their own classes or other commercial concerns.
