Crochet Collar Workshop with Katie Jones Come and learn how to make a beautiful crochet collar, perfect for giving new life to a sweater or adding the finishing touch to your winter wardrobe. This beginner plus workshop is designed for experienced beginners who can hold a hook comfortably and work the basic crochet stitches. If you know the foundations and are ready to learn decorative techniques, this project is the ideal next step. During the day you will learn how to make decorative crochet granny squares and triangles, how to join them neatly, and how to edge and finish your collar with a decorative trim. Katie will guide you through each stage, offering plenty of one to one help in a relaxed and friendly environment. Please note Katie will be bringing a wide range of colour yarns for you to choose from Katie is well known for her playful, colourful approach to crochet and regularly teaches popular workshops at Bus Stop Studios. Her best selling crochet books, including Crochet Shapes, have inspired makers all over the world, and her classes combine clear guidance with creativity and confidence building. All materials for the workshop are included. You will receive cotton yarn for your collar, a pattern, and the use of hooks during the session. You will leave with a finished or nearly finished collar and the confidence to continue making at home. www.katiejonesknit.co.uk There will be a lunch break during the day, giving you time to rest, chat and enjoy the creative atmosphere before continuing with your project. Price £80 standard £65 reduced low income rate We offer a reduced rate for those on low incomes. If you are able to pay the standard fee, this helps support our tutors and makes our classes more accessible to everyone. Please choose the price that feels right for your circumstances. We keep our class sizes small to make sure everyone receives plenty of support. This workshop is limited to eight people and will require a minimum number of bookings to run. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Please note: Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you're unsure whether a class is suitable for you or someone you're booking for, please get in touch before booking. Bookings & Payments • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. • All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. • You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Materials • Materials and tools vary depending on the class. Please refer to the individual course description for details. Feel free to contact us with any questions in advance. Cancellations & Changes • Bookings are non-refundable. • Due to our small class sizes, it is usually not possible to transfer bookings to another date. • If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. • If you contact us 7 days before the class, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. The more notice you give, the better chance we can help. • If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of their name before the class. Cancellations by Us • In the rare case that we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. • Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. We are not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or pre-purchased materials. Insurance & Professional Standards • Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops. • All of our tutors carry their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and are experienced professionals in their field.
