Hand Embroidery Afternoon Course

Come join us every Tuesday afternoon for relaxed and informal hand embroidery lessons with Bus Stop Studios founder Amy Burt aka Lady B Embroidery. Whether you want to follow a set course or work on a project designed by you, we have everything you need here. If you would like to follow a 10 week course you can choose to take the following: -' Intro to Embroidery' learn the core stitches of hand embroidery - 'Raised & Textured Embroidery' - develop your existing hand embroidery skills further - 'Fashion and Couture Embroidery' - advanced embroidery techniques used in the fashion industry Please get in touch for more information on each course You can choose to book a full term of 10 lessons, or a half term of 5 lessons, lastly there is the option to 'drop in' for a single class. If booking less than 10 lessons please contact Bus Stop Studios to enquire if there is space before booking as classes get booked up quickly Material for the class can be bought in class at a discount rate or you can have a full list of materials sent to you for you to buy or bring in yourself. Amy Burt aka Lady B Embroidery is qualified Hand Embroidery Artist and Tutor based in St Leonards on Sea. She has taught for the Royal School of Needlework since 2016 and worked for many years for London fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen, Ralph & Russo and Erdem, Amy worked on the embroideries for the Coronation of King Charles for the RSN www.ladybembroidery.co.uk Starting 9th April 2024 Classes will run every Tuesday afternoon 2 - 4pm (no classes on 28th May for Half Term) End of term 18th June 2024 at Bus Stop Studios 53 London Road St Leonards on Sea East Sussex TN37 6AY

Cancellation Policy

Please note our classes are mostly aimed for adults. Please get in touch to ask if you are unsure. Our classes are non refundable. Due our small class sizes it is very difficult to transfer your booking to a different date. If you cannot attend a class and are able to notify us at least two weeks before the class starts, it may be possible to fit you in on another date but this is not guaranteed so please give us as much notice as possible to increase your chances. T&Cs Terms & Conditions • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events on our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY • Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your place. • Bookings and payments will be confirmed by email. • The materials and tools needed for each class varies, so please refer to the course description but don’t hesitate to contact us with any queries. • If you are unable to attend a class, workshop or event you may send someone else in your place. You must let us know the name of the attendee prior to the class, workshop or event taking place. • Confirmed & paid bookings are not eligible for payment refunds. • You can transfer to another class, workshop or event or receive a credit note if you notify us at least 14 days before the date of the class, workshop or event you are booked on to attend. • In exceptional circumstances, where we may have to cancel one of our advertised classes, workshops or events, you will be offered a full refund. • If a class, workshop or event is cancelled our liability is solely for the cost of the booking fee, not for any other costs you may have incurred such as materials you may have purchased in advance, travel costs or accommodation. • Attendees at our classes, workshops and events are not permitted to use any of our instruction sheets, photography or designs for their own classes or other commercial concerns.
