Service Description
Lino Printing Course with Nicolette Tabram Join award winning designer and tutor Nicolette Tabram for a four part Lino Printing course, running weekly on Friday mornings. This engaging course is perfect for anyone interested in exploring printmaking techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous experience, the sessions will build your confidence and introduce you to a range of creative approaches. Across four sessions you will learn step by step how to design, carve and print your own lino blocks, experimenting with pattern, texture and colour. You will explore how to build up layered prints and use a variety of colour to create depth and interest in your designs. Nicolette will guide you throughout, offering practical advice and professional insight. There will be time to develop your ideas week by week, with opportunities to create prints to take home. Full course content will follow shortly. Basic tools and materials will be provided for use during the course. This includes all essential items worth £15 per person across the duration of the course. If you would like to continue printing at home, we sell everything you need in the Bus Stop Studios shop. Course structure: Four sessions running weekly on Fridays, 10am to 1pm Starting Friday 23 January Price for full 4 week course: £125 standard, £110 reduced low income rate We offer a reduced rate for those on low incomes. If you are able to pay the standard fee, this helps support our tutors and makes our classes more accessible to everyone. Please choose the price that feels right for your circumstances. We keep our class sizes small to make sure everyone receives plenty of support. This course is limited to eight people. We require a minimum of four bookings for the course to run. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Please note: Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you're unsure whether a class is suitable for you or someone you're booking for, please get in touch before booking. Bookings & Payments • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. • All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. • You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Materials • Materials and tools vary depending on the class. Please refer to the individual course description for details. Feel free to contact us with any questions in advance. Cancellations & Changes • Bookings are non-refundable. • Due to our small class sizes, it is usually not possible to transfer bookings to another date. • If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. • If you contact us 7 days before the class, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. The more notice you give, the better chance we can help. • If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of their name before the class. Cancellations by Us • In the rare case that we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. • Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. We are not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or pre-purchased materials. Insurance & Professional Standards • Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops. • All of our tutors carry their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and are experienced professionals in their field.
