Trash to Treasure -Jewellery Upcycling Workshop with Vicki Sarge Ever wondered how to breathe new life into old, broken or forgotten jewellery? Or perhaps you would love to explore jewellery making from scratch with one of the most celebrated designers in the industry. Join us for this special one day workshop with legendary fashion and film jewellery designer Vicki Sarge, often described as the undisputed queen of British costume jewellery. In this inspiring session, Vicki will share expert knowledge honed over decades in the fashion and film worlds. You will learn core jewellery making skills including wire turning to shape metal with precision, bead weaving to create intricate designs, and threading and knotting pearls to craft timeless pieces. As well as exploring these techniques, you will work with Vicki to transform your old or unloved jewellery into fresh, unique creations that reflect your personal style. From broken chains and mismatched earrings to vintage finds that need a new life, you will turn trash into treasure. This full day workshop offers a relaxed, social and creative way to spend Valentine’s Day, whether you come alone, with a friend or with a partner. It is the perfect treat for anyone who loves making, mending and bringing new beauty into the world. Her work has appeared on the Savage X Fenty runway, in BAFTA winning films such as The Favourite, and in West End productions including Cinderella. Pieces from her collaborations are also part of the permanent collection at the V and A Museum. If you are able to pay the standard fee, this helps support our tutors and makes our classes more accessible to everyone. Please choose the price that feels right for your circumstances. Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Please note: Most of our classes are designed for adults. If you're unsure whether a class is suitable for you or someone you're booking for, please get in touch before booking. Bookings & Payments • You can book places on our classes, workshops and events via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex TN37 6AY. • All bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. • You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your payment has been processed. Materials • Materials and tools vary depending on the class. Please refer to the individual course description for details. Feel free to contact us with any questions in advance. Cancellations & Changes • Bookings are non-refundable. • Due to our small class sizes, it is usually not possible to transfer bookings to another date. • If you notify us at least 14 days in advance, we may be able to offer a transfer or credit note, subject to availability. • If you contact us 7 days before the class, we may be able to offer an alternative date, but this is not guaranteed. The more notice you give, the better chance we can help. • If you cannot attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please inform us of their name before the class. Cancellations by Us • In the rare case that we need to cancel a class, workshop or event, you will receive a full refund. • Our liability is limited to the cost of the class only. We are not responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or pre-purchased materials. Insurance & Professional Standards • Bus Stop Studios is fully insured for all classes and workshops. • All of our tutors carry their own Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and are experienced professionals in their field.
