'Tarot for Beginners' Weekend Workshop If you have always wanted to learn Tarot, here's the course for you! Whether you have some experience, or none at all, over 2 days we'll go through the deck, learning not only the meanings of the cards, but the ways to develop your intuition and reading from your inner knowing The 2 day course will cover the Major Arcana, the Minor Arcana, including the Court Cards and pip cards. You'll learn how they interact with the elements, the connections to astrology, and how symbols are a powerful visual language, helping us to look at the world through visual signs. Clarissa will also be doing short readings as the course goes alongs, and you will also learn exercises for you do your own short readings ------ "I have been practicing tarot for 25 plus years. It’s my belief that we get answers when we need them, from any source that we’re open to. So for me, tarot provides a way of gaining insight and contextualises all the factors surrounding a question. I've always found it to be a really useful guide, a way of finding a new perspective or clarity about some aspect of my life or circumstances. ​I’m a practicing visual artist as well, and so one of the reasons that I found my way to tarot is that it’s largely a visual, pictorial language, infused with layers of symbolism - all creating a kind of storybook for each spread. How I work with the tarot - Tarot spreads can address all topics - love, career, family, travel, any area of your life in which you’re seeking clarity. My expertise is in the nuances of meanings in each card, and how they relate holistically. I’ve done thousands of readings over the years, and have consistently seen perspective and clarity come from readings! When you book a private session, I usually like the Celtic Cross spread, which is a good indicator of all factors influencing your life. We can then fine tune specific questions, such as yes/no/why, or the timing of events, or a look at past influences and how they factor into a current decision."
