Hand Embroidery Evening Course with Amy Burt Start the New Year with a relaxing & fun Wednesday evening hand embroidery course led by Bus Stop Studios founder Amy Burt, aka Lady B Embroidery. Whether you’re a total beginner or building on your skills, this friendly group is the perfect place to learn, stitch & share ideas. Book the full 12 week term for a deeper dive into technique & projects, paid in 3 monthly instalments of £75. For the best value, join for the year with our membership. Depending on class size we have a drop in option, please contact us directly for more info. Follow a structured course with Amy, or develop your own project with her help & advice. Course options include: Intro to Embroidery: learn the core stitches Raised & Textured Embroidery: padding, layering & 3D effects Fashion & Couture Embroidery: beading, tambour & advanced techniques Silk Shading: the art of thread painting Goldwork: traditional metal thread techniques Blackwork: intricate monochrome patterns & filling stitches Whitework: delicate white on white techniques Or bring your own ideas to develop week by week. Amy is trained in over 25 techniques & loves a challenge! When booking, let us know your level & what you’d like to focus on. Materials: buy in class at a discount, or request a list to bring your own. Amy is a qualified hand embroidery artist & tutor. She has taught at the Royal School of Needlework since 2016, worked for Alexander McQueen, Erdem & Ralph & Russo & contributed to King Charles III’s Coronation embroidery. www.ladybembroidery.co.uk Good to know Small classes, with absolute beginners very welcome. Cancellation Policy
Terms & Conditions for Class Bookings Most classes are for adults. If unsure whether a class suits you, please contact us before booking. Bookings & Payments Book via our website or in person at Bus Stop Studios, 53 London Road, St Leonards on Sea, TN37 6AY. Bookings are first come, first served. Full payment is required when booking, unless you choose a payment plan or membership. Materials vary, see each course description. A confirmation email will be sent once payment has been processed. Payment Plans & Memberships Some longer courses can be paid monthly or offer a membership, as shown in the course description. By choosing one, you’re booking the whole term, course or membership period and agreeing to make all payments, which are taken automatically each month by card. Any course policy applies alongside these terms. Drop in Lessons Some classes offer pay as you go drop in lessons when there’s space and enough students for the class to run. Please email hello@busstopstudios.com first to check. Pricing & Supported Places We may offer 1 to 2 supported places on selected courses, at our discretion. Please request these by email before booking. If a longer course feels difficult to manage, check whether a payment plan is available or contact us. Location & Access From December 2026, classes take place in our downstairs classroom, reached by stairs with railings. Please contact us before booking about any access needs. Cancellations & Changes You can cancel up to 14 days before the class, or the first session of a multi week course, for a full refund. Within 14 days, bookings are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name before the class. If we can fill your place from our waiting list, we’ll offer you a [refund / credit note]. Missed sessions on a course, payment plan or membership can’t be refunded or credited. Cancellations by Us If we cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund. Our liability is limited to the cost of the class. Insurance & Copyright Bus Stop Studios is fully insured and all tutors hold their own Public Liability Insurance. Course content, handouts, photography and designs are for personal use only and may not be copied, shared or used commercially without written permission. Photography We may take photos during classes for marketing or social media, and will always ask before using identifiable images. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
